What is considered proper munch etiquette?

Overt fetish wear is not considered appropriate as these restaurants are "vanilla" settings.  Typically we have a private room for the munch but you are asked to exercise a certain amount of restraint when discussing fetish topics when a nosey waiter/waitress is hovering about.  Approaching a member of the group in public (not at a munch or play party) is not allowed unless both parties have previously agreed to this (this minimizes uncomfortable introductions to).

Am I stange for liking this stuff?

Some psychiatrists may disagree with this assessment.....but here goes..." HELL NO"! There are plenty of things that people do that justify being labeled "weird" participating in BDSM is not one of them.

What this group is/is not?

We are a group of people in the Lake Charles, Louisiana area that are interested in sharing information about BDSM.   A Yahoo Group has been established to allow people of similar interests to come together and exchange thoughts and experiences.   Information about other groups from Baton Rouge to Houston are also posted here.      Yahoo restricts access of this area to those who are 18 or older.   This is not a swingers club or a sex club and while you may meet a potential "playmate" it is not a place to pick people up.....try the personals at Alt.com for that.

When are the munches/play parties held?

Munches are held monthly, typically around the third Friday or Saturday (but this is not set in stone).  We try to have a class of some sort after the munch.  Due to privacy considerations, attendance at a prior munch is typically required before you will be allowed to attend one of the classes.

To date we have yet to hold a play party but we are getting there.

Members must be 21 or older to attend the munches/classes/play parties.
